Rules and regulations for the students
General:
All the students are required to follow the college schedule of starting the day with prayer, Tamizhthai vazhthu, Padmasanam and end with the National anthem
Students had to follow the dress code of wearing uniform with black shoes and neatly put their hair up through all working days with exceptions on Saturdays while having theory classes
Students should maintain silence in the class room, corridor and in the library all the time
Students are required to maintain personal and professional discipline wherever they go
Should be regular and punctual to the classes and clinics
Should behave properly while travelling in the college bus and outside too
Damaging any property of the institution, will have to bear the expenses
Ought to keep their place neat and clean
Must leave the wash room clean for others to use
Can watch TV during Sundays
Using mobile phone is restricted
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited
Safety regulations:
Each student is responsible for his/her belongings
Valuables and jewels should be kept under safe custody of the student
College will not take any responsibility for loss of valuables
Should not extend your head or hands out while travelling in the bus
During Sickness:
When a student falls ill, should inform to the warden and to the class coordinator immediately
Parents should be informed about student’s illness
Sick student can get first aid from the hospital
If hospitalization required, parents are informed to accompany the ward
Students must produce medical certificate mentioning the leave details and treatment received to the class coordinator on the day of reporting after sick leave
Leave letter should be given to the respective teacher before or after the sick leave
The student must report the progress and follow up to the class coordinator and to the hostel warden
Students are not permitted to take sick leave for minor illness
Study time:
Students should maintain strict study hours between 6am – 8am and 6pm – 8.30 pm all days except on Sundays
Mess:
Student can have healthy Tiffin, Meals and Snacks with tea in the evening and coffee in the morning
Outing:
Students can have occasional outing along with the warden during Sundays
Out time and in time must be entered in the outing register
Visiting time:
Parents and authorized visitors can visit the student between 10am-6pm during Sundays
Visitors must bring the visitor pass while coming to see their children and should sign in the register with the time of entry and exit
Strict discipline is to be maintained in the conduct as well as in carrying out the requirements of the course as per the specified rules and regulations and procedures; lapses if any, on the part of students shall be dealt with firmly and suitable disciplinary action will be taken by the college authorities.
